Thorney’s place in the Flag Fen basin

This talk will be given by Jay Cumberworth, an archaeology specialist with Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery.  It will look at the Bronze Age archaeology of the parish of Thorney which is so close to the sites of huge importance, including Flag Fen and Must Farm.  There will be interesting slides and light refreshments.  Free for all to attend, to be followed by a brief Annual General Meeting of the Thorney Society, and soup for lunch.
