Aircrew Commemoration
29 March @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
FreeOn Saturday 29th March 2025, the Thorney Society is commemorating the aircrew lost over Thorney during World War II and in other accidents up to the 1980s. Village residents and those interested are invited to come to the Bedford Hall between 2pm and 4pm to view an exhibition in the Hall, and for a special opening of Thorney Museum. This date is the 80th anniversary of a crash which claimed the lives of a Free French airman and the crew of a British Stirling bomber.
